Welcome to the Asian Game Developers Summit blog!

Two days, over 100 attendees and 16 excellent speakers. Of course, the AGDS 2005 was more than this simple summary. Relationships were forged. Experiences shared. Frustrations voiced. All in all, it was a pretty damn good conference for a debut event few thought would be successful.

It took five months (yes, FIVE!) and six people to plan our first AGDS. We had our first meeting at The Curve, 6 May 2005 to set up the working committee and roles were identified. Terence, myself, Hasnul, Stephan, Hilmy and Azmir - this core group was how it all began. Our first worry? Money. We had none. How were we ever going to pull this off?

But as with all things in life, with enough determination, it worked out. And all thanks to the vision of one guy who really liked his game conferences.

We really had a lot of fun, and we hope to see all who attended AGDS'05 again next year!
